Monument is located in southern
Washington State, in the Gifford
Pinchot National Forest. |
The Tree line
This is the climbing party just
after breaking out of the tree
line. The route goes up and to
the left from here.
The second shot was taken
about half way up the route.

Getting There
Taking exit # 21 off of I-5 on to
state route # 503 for 23 miles
will bring you to Jacks Restaurant.
Jack's is where climbers need
to register for permits. |
Cool View
Behind Randy the view goes
out in to southern Washington
and northern Oregon. Mt Hood
can be seen in the distance. |

Route
Starting from Marble Mountain
Snow-Park ,we took trail
# 244 to the tree line. Then
headed in a northerly traverse
to the summit. |
New Dome
We could see steam coming out
of the sides of the new dome
the day we summited. |
