This is a  list of all our basic gear. Not every item is brought      
on every trip, but it is a good place to start when planning a trip.

Clothing up
Jacket Windproof rainproof shell, such as Gore-Tex works best.
Pants or Bibs Again a windproof rainproof shell, such as Gore-Tex works best.
Fleece top and bottom Insulation for under the jacket and pants.
Hat Wool or fleece works best.
Baseball cap Keeps the sun off on hot days.
Glove shells Shells and liners can be taken apart for faster drying.
Glove liners Can be worn around camp.
Overmittens For windy cold days.
Boots Stiff plastic double boots work best with crampons.
Wool socks Wool blended with spandex works good.
Liner socks Thin liner sock to be worn under the wool sock.
Underwear top,bottom Capilene from Patagonia works great.
Short Pants Great for sunny days.
Personal   up
Sleeping Bag Good to 0 degrees for 3 season use.
Sleeping Pad Therm-a-rest or closed cell foam work best.
4-one quart water bottles  
Backpack Internal frame works best.
Headlamp and Batteries 4-AA  battery kind works best. Bring extra batteries.
Glacier Glasses UV  A and B protection is best.
Compass Silva compass with mirror.
Climbing Harness Light weight alpine climbing harness.
Rescue Pulley Light weight pulley.
Ascenders Jumars, Gibs, or Prusiks.
Slings For the ascenders.
Snowshoes or Skis Ski if you can, Snowshoes if can't ski.
Crampons Step-in are great!
4 - Carabiners For the harness and ascenders. All locking!
Misc  up
Toilet Paper A must have item. ( No shit! )
Lighter Bring two.
Sunscreen, Lipbalm SPF 40 and a lipbalm that has SPF protection of 10 or better.
Moleskin Another must have item. Precut the pieces.
Camera Pictures for the wall back home.
Walkman Radio You got to have tunes. Bring a small set of speakers for the tent.
Cup and Spoon The bigger the better.
First Aid kit Only what you want to carry.
Toothbrush Saw part of the handle off to save weight.
Alarm Watch To wake you up on summit day.
Spare Glacier Glasses You can't be with out these. ( ever )
Duct Tape 101 uses! Wrap it around your water bottle.
Group Equipment up
Tent We use North Face tents. VE-25 and the Himalayan Hotel.
Rope 50m - 8mill  Super Dry
Stove and Fuel MSR -  XGK, Dragonfly or Wisperlight work great!
Pots 4 Quart is a good size.
Water purifier Pick one that can freeze, because it will!
Food Your choice.
Shovel Aluminum is the only way to go when you are chopping ice.
Wands Up to 300 depending on the climb.
Flukes, Pickets,Ice Screws Depending on the route.
Map Know where to go!
