Our goal is to contact legislators and get 100% participation in cosponsoring Social Security GPO and WEP reform. 
 

  1. Write your representative! Write from your heart. It is important to keep your letters to one page. 
  2.  Describe how you feel about the Government Pension Offset (GOP) or the Windfall Elimination Provisions (WEP) and what  affect it has had on you, your family, your needs to buy medicine, etc.  
  3. Tell how much of YOUR money you are losing each month due to the offset. 
  4. Remind your representative THEY RETURN AT ELECTION TIME  AND ASK FOR YOUR VOTE. IT IS OUR TIME TO ASK FOR THEIR VOTE. 
  5. They need to cosponsor the  McKeon/Berman HR 594 Bill to repeal the GPO/WEP.
    In the Senate - ask your Senators to cosponsor Sen. Feinstein's  S.349 the companion bill.
